Portrait Bela Kali

BELA KALI is born in a Bavarian village. Her path leads her first behind Munich theatre stages and into Viennese lecture halls, until she finally allows herself to be what she always was: an artist.

Her work circles around human experience itself. Her claim: what happens to us shapes how we see. What we express shapes what becomes possible.

Following this, her large-format acrylic paintings place the human body at the center — always in motion, tension, and dynamism. Recurring throughout: the hand as a delicate organ of exploration and creative force at once.

Her exhibition activity is concentrated primarily in Austria and Italy, including several shows in Vienna and Rome.
